Lani Kay is a contemporary artist, who works mainly in watercolour and acrylic paint.

Drawing and painting her way through childhood, Lani studied graphic design at the Johannesburg Art Foundation. 

She worked as a designer in an ad agency , managed an art gallery, and worked as a freelance art consultant.

Lani shares her passion for art and creativity with her own children by creating an art- rich environment, where her children have access to a colourful assortment of art supplies.

Lani established Arty Start in 2014, where she offers her students joyful learning opportunities, encourages them to embrace the creative process and enables them to reach their true creative potential.
